维修保养是恢复工程机械性能，延长其使用寿命的有效手段。对机械定期进行保养能够使机械经常处于完好状态,随时可以启动运转或出车,不致因中途损坏而停机，在使用过程中不致因机件事故而影响安全或行驶，因此一定要对机械定期进行检查保养。

1、目视检查：起动机车前应进行目视检查。检查是否有机油、燃油和冷却液泄漏，是否有松动的螺栓和螺母，电气线路中是否有电线断裂、短路和电瓶接头松动，是否有油污，是否有民物积聚。
